When improving the tenancy:

“If the landlord implements an improvement in the tenancy, the landlord can increase the rent if the improvement significantly increases the value of the rented building. This applies to both leases that are only subject to the Danish Rental Act – that is, leases in an unregulated municipality, and leases that are also subject to the Housing Regulation Act – i.e., leases located in a regulated municipality.” (Clippings from Danish Rental Law (DA))
